Jonas Böttern is a visual artist based in Stockholm. With a background in painting his projects take their form in drawing, painting, artist books and installation. Exploring themes such as the illusive, the mundane, the relationship between exterior/interior and theories revolving the artistic practice.
Jonas work has been included in several exhibitions, he is the recipient of grants and he has worked and taken part in residencies in China and India. He is also one part of the collaboration Hillside Projects.
Other projects include illustration, murals, collage, animation and theatre productions. His work has appeared on Sveriges Radio Hemsida (Swedish Radio web-site), Greenhouse, Styrelsen and Chords, Kävlinge Theatre, Sodhexo etc
